Great Program Easy to implement

This was an incredibly helpful resource in providing enhanced direction for facilitating a group. the Duluth model is one I have used for years and this compliments all the same evidenced based treatment in a simple, clear and creative way. It has dimensions that my group members relate to and the homework assignments are challenging but easy enough to grasp by members. It has a language that is clear and focuses on issues related to abuse and relationships as opposed to only focusing on power and control. Itr references other resources which wwere helpful going forward but this is a great book to get started for groups.

I have started a new domestic violence support group at our church. As a survivor, I felt competent to lead, but was unsure of how to begin the group. This book helped me a lot, giving great tips and advice on dealing with different situations.
