About the Author
Helen Ballestas, PhD, RN, CRRN is an Assistant Professor at the Adelphi School of Nursing, where she teaches Pathophysiology and Medical-Surgical Nursing. She has written extensively, and has contributed to a number of quality books, including the Incredibly Easy series, Straight A's, and LWW's Nursing Series.
Carol Caico, PhD, CS, NP is Assistant Professor of Nursing at New York Institute of Technology and works as a nurse practitioner at Long Island Women's Healthcare. She has over 20 years of professional and teaching experience and is currently a peer reviewer for the American Journal for Nurse Practitioners.

Have been a nurse for seven years and these books in this series are wonderful for teaching and reminding me of things that I have forgotten or didn't learn while I was in nursing school. I find that the material is easy to understand and clearly written. Most subject matter is also simple to locate without a lot of difficulty.

Great for the price!

Can't beat the price! I'm currently in my second semester of a BSN program. This book is a good resource for helping to write pathos. The index is ok, sometimes it is hard to find the disease I'm looking for. Some simple and common diseases, like wound healing and bone fractures, are not in this book. I was able to find most of what I needed though.

Don't waste your money.

The book was recieved in great shape. The information in the book is so compressed and limited I recommend not wasting your money. If what you want to read about happens to be in there then it's ok. There is such a narrow selection of topics I consider the book worthless.
